Using FSA/HSA Dollars to Pay for Sleep Consultations

As of January 2025, sleep consultations are not covered by health insurance.

However, my sleep consultation services may be paid for with your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA).

Reach out to your FSA/HSA administrator and find out whether sleep consultations can be purchased using your FSA/HSA dollars, and ask what the requirements are to be pre-approved. This may include filling out paperwork and/or acquiring a letter of medical necessity (LMN).

LMN is a document from a medical professional (your child’s pediatrician in this case) that explains why a treatment, product, or service is needed for a patient’s health. In my experience, pediatricians are very pro-sleep training, as they recognize that sleep plays a vital role in a child’s well-being, and thus, their parents’ well-being too!

Once you’ve got that all sorted out, book a free discovery call with me to see if we’d be a good fit for working together!
